I have been using reusable pads from several companies for a full year but only recently heard of Lotus Liners. I bought the "Metal Bloom" set from the Luxury Collection. Wow! Very comfortable, extremely absorbent, and surprisingly easy to care for - even the white parts washed like new without pre-treating! These are definitely the "good ones" among all my reusable pads.

Chemical free feminine hygiene products are the safest for a world where women are consistently plagued by chronic disease causing toxins. Lotus liners solve many of the health, economic and social issues women are challenged with, providing a comfortable, safe and economic way to continue being the forces of nature for their families and communities through their cycle.

At first I wondered if Lotus Liners would work for me and was a bit leery! However, once I tried them, I was pleasantly surprised! They are comfortable and feel great! It doesn’t even feel as though anything is there!
Being a competitive dancer, comfort and protection are super important, before and after dance…..I get both those things from Lotus Liners. Not to mention they are cute, discreet and great for the environment!

I love using Lotus Liners!
Let’s be honest, when my mom first suggested I try cloth pads, I was hesitant. I thought about the hassle and the ick factor… but then I thought about the environment; I print double-sided, and I always pack my lunch in reusable containers. I realized that I was being hypocritical and wasteful, and I decided to give them a go. Am I ever glad I did.
All the hassle I’d been imagining simply doesn’t exist. I wear 2 pads a day (1 day, 1 night), the same as I did with paper ones. They never leak through, they wash perfectly, and they save paper and plastic from entering landfills every month.
If anything, they are less hassle, as you never have to run to the store to buy pads again. I also feel much better knowing that I don’t have chemical byproducts pressed against me for days on end. Here’s my advice: give them a go; stop throwing your money and our environment down the drain. You might just end up loving Lotus Liners too!

I love my Lotus Liners! I have very heavy periods and have been afraid to use liners in the past. I have been using them for 3 months now and am amazed at how comfortable and absorbent they are! I will never use anything else!

Dear JB:
My only question is, do you ever have issues with washing the pads with other light coloured clothing and anything staining from the pad residue if they haven’t been soaked? I’m just worried, because I don’t separate my laundry by colour, that any leftover blood on the pad might soak out into the wash water and maybe discolour my other laundry. Is this a valid concern or can you explain if it’s not an issue?
~Thea
Dear Thea:
I have the habit of washing my Lotus Liners with my towels and clothes from hot yoga. I have never had any residue on my clothing after a wash, but I also have the habit of rinsing my liners after I wear them at the end of the day. If I am at home and I switch a liner, I give it a quick rinse. If I’ve been out all day, I take my liner out of the carry tote and rinse before tossing in the laundry. I am notorious for rising my liners and leaving them in the laundry basket until the end of the week when I do laundry on Sundays. Then I just open them up and throw them in with all my other items.
Lotus Liners are designed to release all the contents inside it due to its advanced fabric construction. A simple rinse in the sink, (or some women do it in the shower in the morning after sleeping in one), removes any excess. This enables them to go in the wash easily and not affect any of your other clothing.
I hope this helps and thank you for using Lotus Liners... they are about to change the way you feel each and every month.
Dear JB:
Hello! I was looking at the different sizes/lengths of the liners. Is the Widths different between the Medium Regular and Medium Petite? Or is it just the length?
~Lynne
Dear Lynne:
That is a great question. The width of the Regular and Petite liners are relatively the same, however, there is a 1.27 cm/0.5 inch difference in the length between the Petite and Regular liners.
JB would love to hear from YOU?
